Marx not Modi is need of the hour for ‘poor India’, economic emergency looks inevitable
From salary cut to all parliamentarians till the financial
end to cut of MPLADS (Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme) for 2
years, India is squeezing through the narrow orifice of survival.
India is awaiting the declaration of state of economic emergency
by Modi government. Once it is declared,
none of the state will have any financial freedom and the state’s finance will
be taken over by the central government and the central government also have
the right to cut the salary of every state government employees and even the
salary of chief justice of Supreme Court of India.
The poor and utterly hopeless middle class working in private
sector are seeing nothing but their death and the only question is whether they
are going to be due to due Corona or due to starvation and loss of
livelihood.
Every sector starting
from multi-crore business houses to MSME to several un-organized sectors are
fighting their last battle for survival thankfully not even oxygen is available
to them let alone ventilator support.
Fear from corona as when the corona would attack them from
one end and the hard hitting problem that starts from own empty belly and no
means for any livelihood, the evaporating all the little savings all of them
collectively and individually killing India inch by inch.
From here onward, how the life is going to be appears to
bother none because people have already gone lifeless and for the majority, the
worth life is nothing but death. Thanks are not due to Corona but to the
horrible lock down.
When governance of the state falls to the remote system of
big brother country in the world, naturally the victim country has to display
and portray what the big brother wants to watch and nothing else. Today Modi has buckled India to international
prescription and the price is, India has to dance to the tunes of western music
and not Carnatic or Hindustani music.
We have heard the famous proverb “a friend in need is a
friend indeed”. But the friendship
between Trump and Modi has brought out a new meaning to friendship. Threatening and get threatened are also part
of new era friendship at least between Trump and Modi. Obviously the one who threatened was Trump
and the one who got threatened was Modi.
Obviously the above situation points that India has lost its
sovereignty and independence at least at the perception level, thanks to Modi
and his greed for international fame and reputation.
We may fault Modi for everything. But who knows Modi may be victim of his own
making, adventured too many things and would have hoped that, through emotional
appeal and rhetoric, he can win people.
Hungry man will listens
to Karl Marx than Modi, because Marxism is quite empowering the powerless to become
powerful. Marxism is voice of people and
voice of especially the poor and the voiceless, worker force.
Although the avatar of
Lord Vishnu in Brahmin form -Parasurama can take the credit for making Kerala
otherwise called ‘God’s own land’ but it was EM Sankaran Naboothiripad was the
first to prove to the world that ‘worker force’ too can capture power and govern
the state. First democratically elected communist
government in the world was in Kerala state.
Independence, revolution and democracy and elimination of exploitation and
poverty were the founding principles of communist party.
Equal human worth to
all laborers, only Marxism and not Modi magic has achieved.
Thanks to the lock down imposed by Modi without any preparation,
the disastrous recipe is going to make large proportion of Indians poor, daily
wage labourers, insolvents, job seekers and street beggars. A few higher echelons may escape, but only
for the time being, Modi will ensure everyone soon stands in queue with begging
bowl for a squire meal.
A few capitalists are only going to dictate the market and the
employment scopes in India.
Over exploitation of the ‘work force’, starting from scientist,
teacher, IT professional, auditor or skilled and semi-skilled worker, will the
counter product of the draconian measure taken by Modi government because that
is corner stone of capitalism and feudalism.
Retaining the present job itself, even with bare minimum wage
is going to be the real challenge than getting a new job.
Certainly the second wave
of Marx’s political ideology is going to get momentum among people because
India is going to be the land of hopeless workers, wants wage and escape over
exploitation by the capitalist.
It is therefore Marx
and not Modij magic is going to get traction if Marxism is presented before
people as a solution and not as an ideology.
Angry man’s mind can be easily brought back to Marx’s
ideology than Modi’s emotional call to light a candle, pray to Lord Ram
etc. Poor man need work, pay, food and life. Modi has denied everything through
thoughtless lock down. People
are longing and yawning for a solution and powering ideology and not a dictator
and the best suited ideology for India is Marxism and not Modi-ism.
