Is evolution trying to re-set ecological system to new hierarchy, corona playing game of chess or has gone scapegoat?

The evolution and the recent ‘super power emergence’ of novel coronavirus presents two important possibilities to the mankind. 

The first possibility is that the evolution may be re-setting the ecological system into a new hierarchy order by positioning the novel coronavirus on the top of the ecological pyramid which, so far man has been dominating.   

Hereon the invisible corona shall be the top predator (terminator) in the ecological pyramid based on food chain and food web.   The abundant resource available to the virus in the biome is Homo sapiens and hence the virus has come to conquer man.

The other possibility is that the virus may be playing the game of chess, targeting primarily the ‘king’ so that it can quickly achieve the purpose of the evolution; position the virus above man. 

The reference of king is quite figurative; the countries that are economic super power like UK, US etc., can be classified under the expression of ‘king’ countries like the ‘king’ in the game of chess.  Once the king is checked or targeted, the entire game will go with the player who smartly put the check to the king on chess board and wins the game.   Novel coronavirus is exactly doing what the evolution wants the virus to do. 

Another strange and harsh possibility that is developing at the subterranean level we cannot ignore and dismiss.   Several democratic countries may use novel coronavirus as scapegoat to enjoy the privilege of converting democracy into autocracy to display the power and invoke all less known and less used ‘acts’ in the constitution to re-invent new rule of autocracy or king’s rule after coming to power through democratic means. 

Human history has shown that the entire world has moved from king’s rule to feudalism to capitalism to socialism to autocracy to finally democracy.  The democracy is celebrated as one of the forward power movement from reductionism, regressive and oppressive rule. 

May be in thermodynamics, certain actions can be non-reversible but may not be in the case of democracy.  When democracy can evolve from crude autocracy or king’s rule or socialism or feudalism, why not the progenitor again comes back to the scene to re-claim its position and push its offspring called democracy into prison.  Many governments with absolute majority are doing the same.

In a trickier sense, democracy allows the virus to contract from one to other, because in democracy, people can move around freely, can hug and kiss each other, can sit and chat in a park or beech with others for long, can breathe the air without any filter, can go punkie, enter into any eatery without getting checked for body temperature and can avoid wipe the hand with sanitizer etc. 

People also need not fear about an ambulance rushing to their house to pick them up to quarantine chamber for the reason only the government and the coronavirus alone knows.  Without any symptom, complaint or fear, people are made to feel that they carry the virus and are great threat to humanity and hence must be quarantined.  

Modi has to suspend some of our democratic norms to impose all such curfews and lockdown.  In a way, the ugly claws of autocracy only came as replacement to democracy to fight coronavirus. 

The question is when the nature and evolution tries to re-set the ecological hierarchy by placing the virus on the top of the ecological pyramid, how man can wage war against the virus and win?

Nature would have already understood that it would be hard even for the nature to position the virus above man as man may do everything possible to eliminate the virus and hence the virus must start its onslaught first on king, like in the game of chess.  The virus would have therefore targeted American and European population the worst. 

When the king is attacked, naturally that would rattle the entire humanity. And such threat would compel the ‘soldier’ countries (developing countries like India) to join the war against the virus.   It looks like the virus has used ‘fear’ to rattle humanity than causing ‘human death’.   Therefore both the fear and virus spreads equally in our society and one is complimenting the other. 

The question is who our real enemy – the virus or fear mongering? 

Are we not proving we are nothing but mere soldiers of US and European countries and hence are fighting the war against livelihood of millions in the name of fighting the virus?

If we are waging war against the virus means, we should have evolved several India specific strategies instead of being a sheep that follow the good shepherd called WHO in verbatim and letteratam. 

India should not have adopted the strategy of killing the livelihood of people to fight virus.  Because many people in India are living as living corpse due to poverty, social and educational inequality, living in most impoverished conditions. 

Even millions of middle class people also live with merge income to meet both ends of life.  For such people, life means livelihood and death means loss of livelihood.  And hence the coronavirus may make no difference to their life if the livelihood is killed to save them from corona attack.  No livelihood means, death, then what is so special about the death either due to corona or due to starvation and debt?

Another strong political messaging also comes from our war against coronavirus.  The democracy has gone so slippery and autocracy is slowly fixing its danglers all over the face of democracy.   Due to fear of corona people may be missing to see the bigger corona that is going to engulf our democracy sooner than later.  

The pleasure of being a dictator even for a short while is higher than anything on earth and hence our entire bureaucracy, the ruling political dispensation, police force all may soon forget the norms of democracy and become the marketing managers and merchants of ‘power’ and ‘authority’ over people and democracy. 

To achieve the above goal, the possibility of converting or making the novel coronavirus as scapegoat or cat’s-paw cannot be ruled out. 

If evolution wants to put the virus on the top of the ecological pyramid means, it wants to give just some extra powers to the virus and not to eliminate man.  Man is required in the pyramid below the virus and only then the evolution and nature too can celebrate its joy and revenge over human undue over dominance in the biome. 

Therefore man either runs away from virus or runs after the virus, nothing is going to make any difference and instead, man must allow the virus to flow thorough us by releasing and relaxing the democracy a little more than what it was before the advent of coronavirus.  But we are challenging both the virus and evolution and at the same time also killing the livelihood of man, making the job of the virus quite easy. 

At least at verbose level, many countries have now accepted the universal law that they have to learn to live with the virus and the virus is going to live with man may be forever.   

Our efforts are making human life more deadly than the virus. 

People fear quarantine and containment measure more than the virus and hence many may not even share their health problem if they suffer from any symptoms similar to corona infection.   Such situation will make the virus tough to eliminate but our government still wants to fight the virus. 

If we let the virus and people totally free, those who suffer from severe complications and need treatment would go to hospital and others would manage the problem and may happily move on with life.  The country also may progress.  The purpose-less virus, let it sit on the top of the pyramid or let it be in the bottom, doesn’t matter, man can live happily as long as death doesn’t visit him.  Any way everyone has to die one day.  No science or technology can ever prevent death nor can bring a dead man back to life. 

Let us play the game against corona like WWF, entertaining, enjoys huge patronage and sponsorship, audience …. and not intoxicating, self-damaging and destroying the livelihood of people.
