Dear Congress, speak through Dr. Manmohan Singh, India will listen

India is passing though one disaster after another starting from demonetization, horribly implemented GST and now unprepared lock down of India for 21 days.

All the disasters that India has to ploughed through and endure are manmade, thanks to millions and millions of people who heeded to their emotion (the author is no exception) than to the economy of our nation.   At last, the devil has come to even every hutment to sprinkle its disaster to their livelihood and life.  This is the time people understand what economy means and how dangerous was their decision to heed to emotional appeal and voted accordingly. 

More that the economic disaster that India is passing through, the disaster faced by the main opposition party in India, Indian National Congress is quite obvious because the party lack any credible face to earn the support of people. 

Raghul Gandhi, Sashi Taroor, Chidambaram, Kapil Sibil…… no one in the congress party enjoys any credibility among people although some lutyen club in Delhi and Modi phobic ‘media pudding’ may promote all the above leaders of the congress party as credible and real.  But India is not going to care them.

 

Who can save congress in the hour of crisis and indeed also can save India is Dr. Manmohan Singh. 

Although Manmohan Singh may be tired and aged, but to save India, congress must speak to India through Manmohan Singh.  If Manmohan Singh speaks, India will hear, listen and follow him.  Even those Indians were in the womb of their mother when Manmohan Sing was our finance minister also knows how Dr. Manmohan Singh under Narasimha Rao government saved India and made Indian economy run even in Olympic game. 

Today the last man in the village also knows what economy means.  He has lost his livelihood, eating nothing but poverty and penury, educated youths are on the street hopelessly roaming as gypsies in own motherland, all most all the small scale business houses are downing their shutter due to huge financial loss, small traders who were selling their a little products have turned out to be beggars and loan defaulters due to business loss; the day is not far away, men in the street may have to fight with dogs and pigs to have something from the garbage.  These were the great gifts of Modi, the messiah of development from 2014 to 2019 to India’s economy.  Demonetization and GST were launched at humanity with great promise and political discourse that they were meant eliminate corruption, bring black money and ease business. 

Demonetization has neither reduced corruption by 0.1% nor has brought any black money, nor increased the tax payer base as no tax payer has got any tax leverage if the tax payer base has gone up. Most of the unorganized traders, business houses, MSME are vanishing like how a dew drop would disappear when sun shines over them.

People believed Modi due to his emotional appeal.  Further the anger of people towards congress did not reduce and in fact only has gone up in 2019 thanks to its leader –dynast Raghul Gandhi.  Unfortunately congress does not want to depart from the family politics and the coterie of sycophants who exist as buttresses of the age old party.

Thanks to the uncontrollable anger earned by congress in 2014, congress could not project Dr. Manmohan Singh and even if they had attempted, people would not have accepted.  In 2019, again the emotion got up beat over economy and hence people favoured Modi With even bigger margin in parliament than in 2014.

But Modi took people of India for granted.  Still he believes that by kindling the emotion of people he can ride his horses to success.  No man with hungry stomach, empty valet, children with nothing to eat, nothing to hope, with sunken eyes, bone protruding cheeks, stomach and back aligns together as thin membrane due to starvation giving near kwashiorkor appearance, would heed to the emotional appeal or puzzles of Modi in future. 

This is the right time congress must speak to people about economy, penury, joblessness and must recall demonetization, hopelessly implemented GST, horribly applied lock down India for 21 days with the credible reference of how Dr. Manmohan Singh has saved India and its economy in the distant past.  

Dr. Manmohan Singh must meet the press at least once weekly, continuously expose the viscera and anatomy of Indian economy and how close India is today to total collapse.  Even if Manmohan Singh has to be over taxed by the congress party, it is necessary because people will listen and follow only Manmohan Singh and not Raghul Gandhi or Tharoor or Chidambaram. 

To reach people, congress needs Manmohan Singh.  To reach leutyen club anyone in congress like Abhisekh Manu Singhvi or Manish Tiwari or Kapil Sibel, Chidambaram are sufficient.  But to reach people, to enter inside every hut, village, roosting site made of mudpack and thatched roof, only Mahmohan Singh can achieve for congress. 

Beggar and rich, prince and pauper, street vendor and owner of multi-crore business house, middle income group, students, toddler everyone knows how bad our economy is today and what is penury and poverty.  Therefore everyone will understand Manmohan Singh.  All that is needed is congress must speak through Manmohan Singh to India.  Highlight all the economic disasters of Modi and the consequences/result, never offer any remedy, let the emotional appeal of Modi perish with our perishing economy.
