Modi’s lockdown lets down India; COVID fear spreads faster than the virus

In the name of creating an extravagant awareness about COVID among general public and also to prevent the spread of the virus, Modi has imposed a draconian lockdown measure in India a year ago and also he used another  best weapon called ‘fear’ to divert the inability of our health care system to handle the pandemic. 

Today what we witness in India in the aftermath of the second wave is nothing but the trickledown effect of lockdown and the fear created by Modi through lockdown, a year ago.  

Today any unrelated medical discomfort also people and most clinicians associate with COVID without even testing or confirming.  Instead of studying how worst they feel, many people rush to hospital, feel and experience at the thought level, most of the signs and symptoms of COVID, which are being bombarded to the air by our media houses on hourly basis and that is the real problem. 

People with decent medical awareness and laymen, today both behave the same way in dealing COVID.  Some even have shared privately their worst fear that COVID will certainly kill them if they get and therefore they fear the COVID more than any other medical complication.

Perhaps Modi would have used the fear to create awareness but he did not realize the bitter truth that our corrupt medical system won’t let COVID go so easily from India because the fortune and treasure of our medical and allied science lies in the immorality of COVID and hence several sisters, brothers and relatives of novel coronavirus are going to come in near future. 

What hits our nation so brutally today is not the second wave of COVID but the unfound fear created over COVID by Modi and his nationwide lockdown to substantiate the same.  Today what our nation reaps is what Modi has sowed in the form of lockdown a year ago. 

India cannot and should not go for lockdown. Our economy is very fragile and millions and millions of poor people survive with meagre earning they make per day by doing several menial jobs in the street.  When we deny them of their earning opportunity and infuse death fear, naturally we are doing nothing but sowing the seeds of disaster by using COVID as an excuse.   

Social distancing can only be a wish and enforcing the same in India in letter and spirit is not that easy.  All those who preach and profess social distancing must realize the living conditions of millions of poor people who roost inside a common place like how bats are engaged in communal roosting inside a dark cave.  They have to share the same water source, same toilet facility and same path to move around.   Blaming COVID for everything and imposing lockdown can only worsen the life of people which is in every sense a welcome situation for the virus. 

Today most of the states are playing the fun of lockdown politics because imposing lockdown is the easiest thing than helping the people.  Need of the hour is nothing but confidence.  More than oxygen, we need to give confidence to people that if people feel healthy and follow self-discipline and other preventive measures, COVID will never dare to touch them and even if they get affected, their immunity is sufficient to deal it provided if they remain confident and courageous to follow the treatment regimen.   

Modi should have promoted the role of AYUSH vaidys than AYUSH recipes in dealing COVID. 

Compared to the so called fraud and money minded allopathic doctors (not all), AYUSH vaidyas in general are optimism and confidence givers, they listen to the patient and would provide the necessary diet and life style recipes.   To deal COVID, we must give confidence and optimism to the patient than fear.  We make every COVID patient feel miserable as they carry a deadly pathogen and they are also can act like YAMA to others.  What a horrible approach we have adopted to deal COVID. 

Modi must realize that if he continues with his lockdown politics and COVID excuse, certainly he will be defeated by the virus.  BJP and Modi can be confident of victory only with the dynast Raghul Gandhi and not with COVID.   

The economic disaster, loss of employment, inflation etc., will eliminate BJP from India’s political map if BJP continues with lockdown politics. 

All those in AIIMS, ICMR and other posh medical hospitals can afford to advice all impossible suggestions to the country to deal COVID but India is a country of poor and therefore the real concern of poor people is money and not COVID that our state must realize and sympathise. 

Which disease has not caused death at all?  Who on earth can claim he or she will not die at all? 

Let us look at the country beyond a few deaths. 

We cannot make our country, so threatened, fearful and lazy.  Large section of students has forgotten education.  People have gone lazy.  Everyone wants to work from home.  Creativity, hard-work, passion etc., are evaporating fast from our land thanks to lockdown.  Still we have not lost time, let us save the nation, let us forget COVID, the virus also will leave us.  As long as we hold the virus, the virus is also going to hold us.

    India is a huge country and to make it's people practice simple techniques like avoid spitting, wearing mask is a draconian task. We have been playing bad sport with nature (emotionally as well as physically), now we are reaping the reaction hugely magnified.

    This sort of baseless Illogical one sided quasi scientific articles, written with ulterior motives, financed by the antinationals, are a bane for our country. We have seen enough of these kinds in the past. Please stop spreading of both rumors and the pandemic.
