Indian COVID 19 variant “of concern” by WHO, can we dismiss diversity dynamics of microbiome and human population

Recently WHO (World Health Organization) has classified the Indian variant of COVID 19 as being “of concern”.   From the preview of WHO what is expected out of WHO, WHO has been done perfectly.  Now it is for India to research out why the strain of COVID 19 in India in the recent time has shown high communicability and is the high communicability of the virus is definitely also linked with its fatal nature?

We are more worried about the symptoms that we see at the surface level and are not really willing to go down to the root of the problem.  In India, we have contracted the responsibility of dealing COVID totally to the ‘epiphyte and parasite’ of the western medical science’ called allopathic system.

Most of the allopaths know only the language of western medicine and whatever findings observed in western population by the western medicos, our Indian medicos would simply cut and paste and then conclude.  In the case of non-infectious diseases or otherwise called as non-communicable diseases, such cut and paste approach may work well but definitely not in the case of infectious diseases and more so in the case of a new microbial pathogen.

Before we press the alarm button and take the fire extinguisher to fight out, we must take our deep breath and must understand a bit about India.  The population dynamics of man in India is very diverse at sub-genetically, culturally, ethnically, at food level, economic level, educational level, social level and finally at political level.  Further the living conditions of people and population density per unit area is also quite vast among different populations in India.  Due to the above diversity of human population in India, the exposure of people to diverse microbes is also not uniform and so shall the carriage level of microbiome by different population.  The above circumstances also likely to bisect our population into two halves viz., one being highly resistant or naturally immune to most microbes and the other being extremely susceptible or vulnerable to most infectious diseases, mostly due to hygiene life (hygiene theory).

When the new virus entered India, we were worried only about human life by juxtaposing the medical wisdom regurgitated by the western medicos and neglected our great, diverse India.

The novel coronavirus before infecting man in India, it must fight and win over other microbial pathogens that are harbouring in man and only then it can really infect man.

Another important point to be noted is the extraordinary natural immune defence of vast majority of population who cannot come under the definition of following hygiene theory, in any stage of their life.  Therefore the novel coronavirus has to fight the multitude of microbial pathogens inherently present in India along with the strong natural immune defence barrier of vast population.   If we challenge the new pathogen too much and also give enough and more space for the virus to learn the art of how to break such barrier or citadel, then the virus can become deadly.

The big question is have we given enough room for the virus to modify and then go deadly?

Certainly YES, we did too much to achieve too little to near nothing.

Nationwide lockdown, contact tracing, creating containment zones and what not, we did everything to restrict the free flow of the virus.  Or in other words, imprisoned the virus, allowed the virus to learn and be familiar with both the microbiome and natural immune resistance of certain population and then spread.

In spite of the massive favour given to the virus by India, still the virus has not become deadly, it has only seems to have developed high communicability.  In Indian population, even a slightly high communicability for any pathogen is sufficient to become pandemic because of the dense population dynamics.  The enormous fear that we have caused in the name of creating awareness among people had further compounded the problem of man and not of the virus.

High communicability of any pathogen need not be linked to its fatality.   Only the lazy microbes love to skip from one host to other and not the deadly one.   But we have caused great panic and confusion among people and destroyed our economy.  Thanks to the epiphyte and parasite type of medical education and medicos of India.

We must understand the distinction between infectious and non-infectious diseases.

Homo sapiens, at holistic level (organ level) are same all over the world and hence the western medical science emanating any new wisdom about non-infectious diseases can be stretched to Indian context to some level but in the case of infectious diseases and that too about dealing a new pathogen, we must consider many other India specific issues that prevails over here, systematically.  But instead, we have defeated our nation and our economy by imposing ludicrous and senseless lockdown to prevent a virus of such communicability from spreading.

Instead of empowering our hard core scientists, we have crowned medicos who are nothing but epiphytes and parasites of western medical wisdom.  Whereas in US and most EU countries the medicos are also hard core scientists engaged in serious medical research but in India, our medicos are more after money than gaining medical wisdom from doing research.

COVID as a real medical problem in India is only 5-10% and the fear is the real problem.  People’s mind has been infected by COVID and treating COVID at mind level is the urgent need than anything else.  We have made mockery of humanity by creating India exclusively for COVID and not for Indians.   Government must open India and allow life to happen normally, COVID will disappear or else it may prefer to live with us like other pathogens.

Let us forget COVID, let us break the deal between COVID and allopathic medical science and empower AYUSH vaidyas and AYUSH recipes to manage COVID.

AYUSH vaidyas have human heart and hence they can heal the people who are stunned by COVID fear far more effectively than the so called allopaths.
