World under ‘death row phenomenon’, need psychiatric treatment, not COVID vaccine

Thanatophobia is otherwise called as fear of death.  Sigmund Freud once said that “people do not believes in own death”.  Further no one also wants to die; even by killing others, wants to live and that is how every life form on earth has evolved.  Man is the best example for contractarian and utilitarian way of life than giving any damn value and respect for the life of other living being.   

After the outbreak of novel coronavirus, the world has gone perverted and the medical science has not only created fear about novel coronavirus but also has compelled people to fall into an emotional fear trap called ‘death row phenomenon’.   

Like the prisoner who is convicted with death sentence waiting for the hangman with no hope left, today people are totally shattered and doing everything to save their life from corona which many believe would kill them. 

This is the first time people see disease and death are inseparable and for many, hope doesn’t exist between the two.  

Today the great medical fraternity and science had surrendered all its self-respect and had hired fear to cover up its ignorance and inability.   The medical science had admitted further that it knows only a little about the virus, the pathology, the transmission mechanism, the susceptibility factors and mortality.    Besides all the above admissions the medical science has also told the world that there is no drug available to treat the disease.   But the same medical science unfortunately over-hyped the problem, used fear to cover up its ignorance and forced the country to go for lockdown to establish its importance and supremacy.  WHO (World Health Organization) has attained supreme level of incompetence by handling the pandemic in a most disastrous manner from the beginning. 

At the end, the medical science could create nothing but only ‘death row phenomenon’ among people.  If the world had gone silent, who knows, the virus and people might have gone friendly to each other without the interference of science and medicine.   Through pleading helplessness, the science and medicine not only allowed the viral pandemic to occur but also the politics to claim its pound of flesh.  Today, like the story of camel and tent, politicians have started to sell cow urine science and village healing recipes as great science to treat COVID 19.   

It is quite natural that when scientifically proven medical science admits its limitations but at the same time hype the problem, the country healers would creep into the scene with their wonder medicine to cure the viral infection.  Further the custodians of faith based healing practices also would argue that their recipes were gifted to mankind by Lord Siva and Dhanvanthri.   The Hindu promoters always love to use the above claim as yet another brick to build Hindu rastra.  

Naturally the science and secularism shall be the victims of politics over faith science.

Today many people believe that the novel coronavirus has come to kill man and it is only a matter of time for each of us to die.  Should we not show a little more resilience and recognise the truth that we are not born to live forever.  Even the deathless Prahlad as described in Mahabharat is not alive today. 

Why all Gods; Lord Ram, Lord Krishna… all of them lives only in temple idols and in the belief systems of people and not in bodily form for the ordinary people to touch, feel and talk to all those Gods.

The senseless lockdown imposed by Modi and describing his fight against the virus as Mahabharat war, Modi has pulled another string to destroy our economy to make sure that our economy shall never recover.  Sadly some people continue to support the emotional rhetoric of Modi without realizing the truth that they are digging own graveyard.   When economy and employment scopes are destroyed, the Modi bhakts are also going to die. 

All of us are born to die one day and not to live in eternity.  Today what the world at large requires is psychiatric therapy more than vaccine against novel coronavirus.   When science took the help of fear to cover up its ignorance, naturally the science has given way for politics to enter into the stage.  When politics enters, only fulfilment of own political agenda and corruption shall prevail and not addressing the problems of people.  Otherwise Modi would not have gone for lockdown and destroyed the life and livelihood of millions of people just to boost and inflate the ego that Modi is a very decisive leader. 

Today India is facing all time high unemployment crisis, several MSME’s are closing their operations, people are losing their job, suffers salary cut and the real problem is not coronavirus. 

Our ecosystem knows how to balance and maintain the cybernetics by trimming down prey-predator or host-parasite ratio, whenever necessary. 

The evolution of any new life form would always consider several possible permutations and combinations, opportunity, limitations and extermination etc., of the new species in toto and only then the programming would be done in each species.

Novel coronavirus is no exception.  The virus would have entered the human host may be by chance.  Evolution would have given two possibilities to the virus viz., skip through human host without causing much damage or else learn to live in human host. 

To live in human host, the evolution would have programmed the virus well but with the caveat that such possibility the virus should expedite only when the virus has no other choice.  Because the second choice will always come at the cost of human life and nature may not allow the species to evolve so easily to destroy another species totally.

If India has not gone for lockdown and allowed the virus to skip through people, by now the virus and man would have developed friendship or else the virus would have gone back to its host.  But we forced the virus to expedite its second ‘advantage trait’ by not allowing the virus to skip through.  Lockdown and forced social distancing would have certainly limited the virus from jumping from one person to another; hence the virus may have employed the second option. 

The areal mode of transmission also might have been taking place only due to lockdown.  

The dense population in India would have naturally favoured the virus to skip through and escape but Modi had gone for lockdown and also made the fight between man and virus a perennial one.   In UK, EU countries, US etc., lockdown is necessary because of poor population density and the virus by default may have only the second option to expedite in those countries.  But in India, the situation is different.

Today the treatment of COVID 19 has become anybody’s game. 

Anyone, starting from astrologer to palmist to Baba to parrot astrologer to village healer to quacks (according to the definition of Honourable Supreme Court of India; institutionally qualified AYUSH vaid prescribing allopathic drugs as quacks) have drugs to treat and if they are given a little freedom would claim they have eliminated the virus.   

Should we not ask a simple question how all the above cohorts of faith and superstition based healing practices can be so bold to make such claim?  Does that not mean the virus is not a deadly pathogen but the science and medicine only catapult faith healing and occultism to harvest the season?

Today India faces lockdown infection and pandemic and not the corona pandemic.    Most of the state governments except Andhara Pradesh that is ruled by Shri Jagan Mohan Reddy are using lockdown as an excuse or sadistic joy whereas Jagam Modhan Reddy is taking all measures possible to contain the pandemic by protecting the life and livelihood of the people of the state of Andhra Pradesh. 

India needs more such Jagan Mohan Reddy like Chief Ministers and centre must be headed by multi-party coalition government headed by an eminent economist and only then we can save our democracy, economy and federal structure of India.

The big question is when people are going to recover from the rude shock of ‘death row phenomenon’ and back to active life?   The state is in an utter fiasco; economy has died and gone but the ruling dispensation s playing politics by hitting Gandhi family for everything. 

What responsibility Modi has taken to improve the economy of our country, address unemployment crisis, end corruption etc.  India needs economy and not emotional rhetoric of Modi, needs development of the nation and not the expansion of Hinduism, progress of secular India and not communal India where cow vigilantism, lynching and cow urine medicine become new normal.
